Discovery Plus Subscription Price, Shows, Membership Cancellation, and more

The latest in the streaming business to make the noise and grab the eyeballs is the app, Discovery Plus. I remember when we, at home decided to not opt for Tata Sky or a cable connection anymore, the only TV channel that I missed the most was Discovery Channel. And then came Animal Planet. When I first saw Discovery Channel as an app in the Playstore, my happiness knew no bounds. But it was in its initial stages back then, so I explored a little and then didn’t go back soon.

Today, the app is more of what Discovery channel originally was (on the television). Great content that you can binge anytime you want to. From the Irwins to Manoj Bajpayee, everyone’s throwing some great content your way.

So if you are tired of controversial shows that have nothing new to offer you, I strongly recommend you to try this amazing app, Discovery Plus. Where is it available?

  1. Play Store
  2. App Store
  3. Fire TV
  4. Android TV app

If you are planning to download this app, you would surely want to know what are the subscription charges of Discovery Plus.

Where the monthly Discovery Plus Premium membership comes for just Rs. 99, the annual membership is charged at Rs 299. And yes, the good news is that one account can be accessed on 2 devices at the same time. That’s a pretty good deal!

What if you want to cancel your Discovery Plus subscription? It’s simple. Go to MY ACCOUNT > SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS. Right in front of Subscription Details, you will find the ‘Resume’ option, click on it. Resume will now be changed to MANAGE. Click on manage, it will take you to the ‘CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION’ page. Click on it and follow the instructions.

Discovery Plus Shows

Wondering what to watch on Discovery Plus? As I mentioned earlier, all of their content is excellent, you just have to pick what pleases you. Some of the shows on my watchlist are:

  1. Secrets of Sinauli
  2. Crikey! It’s the Irwins
  3. What killed Maradona?
  4. Walking the Himalayas

Though the above tops my list, I am going to start watching some of my favourite shows again. Food Factory, Man vs Food, all the investigation shows, and many many more that I missed after switching to Digital.

And yes, the reviews of the Discovery Plus shows will soon start coming on The Digital Popcorn. So if you have any recommendations, share them with me by shooting an email at thedigipop@gmail.com

As I go and watch the next happening show and then review it for you, you keep exploring the digital world and keep supporting all those who are creating great content online.
